<enactingFormula style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><i>  Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa­tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,</i></enactingFormula><sidenote><p class="leftAlign firstIndent0 fontsize8" id="x099de2d1-e838-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" style="-uslm-lc:I658180">Oregon Tribal Economic Development Act.</p></sidenote>
<section id="d310094e88" identifier="/us/pl/115/179/s1" style="-uslm-lc:I658146"><num class="bold" value="1">SECTION 1. </num><heading>SHORT TITLE.</heading><content style="-uslm-lc:I658120">  This Act may be cited as the “<shortTitle role="act">Oregon Tribal Economic Development Act</shortTitle>”.</content></section>
<section id="d310094e98" identifier="/us/pl/115/179/s2" style="-uslm-lc:I658141"><num class="fontsize12" value="2">SEC. 2. </num><heading>APPROVAL NOT REQUIRED TO VALIDATE LAND TRANSACTIONS.</heading><subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="y099e09e2-e838-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/115/179/s2/a" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="a">(a) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">In General</inline>.—</heading><content>Notwithstanding any other provision of law, without further approval, ratification, or authorization by the United States, the Confederated Tribes of Coos, Lower Umpqua, and Siuslaw Indians, the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde Community of Oregon, the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians of Oregon, the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs, the Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Tribe of Indians, the Klamath Tribes, and the Burns Paiute Tribes may lease, sell, convey, warrant, or otherwise transfer all or any part of its interests in any real property that is not held in trust by the United States for the benefit of such tribe.</content></subsection>
<subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="y099e09e3-e838-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/115/179/s2/b" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="b">(b) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Trust Land Not Affected</inline>.—</heading><chapeau>Nothing in this section shall—</chapeau><paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y099e30f4-e838-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/115/179/s2/b/1" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="1">(1) </num><content>authorize the Confederated Tribes of Coos, Lower Umpqua, and Siuslaw Indians, the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde Community of Oregon, the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians of Oregon, the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs, the Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Tribe of Indians, the Klamath Tribes, and the Burns Paiute Tribes to lease, sell, convey, warrant, or otherwise transfer all or any part of an interest in any real property that is held in trust by the United States for the benefit of such tribe; or<page identifier="/us/stat/132/1381">132 STAT. 1381</page></content></paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y099e30f5-e838-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/115/179/s2/b/2" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="2">(2) </num><content>affect the operation of any law governing leasing, selling, conveying, warranting, or otherwise transferring any interest in such trust land.</content></paragraph>
