<section id="d312199e85" identifier="/us/pl/115/136/s1" role="instruction" style="-uslm-lc:I658146"><num class="bold" value="1">SECTION 1. </num><heading>ELIGIBILITY OF VETERANS’ SPOUSES AND DEPENDENT CHILDREN WHOSE REMAINS ARE UNAVAILABLE FOR DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS MEMORIAL HEADSTONES AND MARKERS.</heading><chapeau class="indentUp0 firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="x5a09b1f9-e839-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" style="-uslm-lc:I658120">  <ref href="/us/usc/t38/s2306/b/2">Section 2306(b)(2) of title 38, United States Code</ref>, <amendingAction type="amend">is amended</amendingAction>—</chapeau><paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y5a09b1fa-e839-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/115/136/s1/1" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="1">(1) </num><content>in subparagraph (B), by <amendingAction type="delete">striking</amendingAction> “<quotedText>The</quotedText>” and <amendingAction type="insert">inserting</amendingAction> “<quotedText>An individual who dies on or after November 11, 1998, who is the</quotedText>”; and</content></paragraph>
