<section id="d323554e92" identifier="/us/pl/114/72/s1" style="-uslm-lc:I658146"><num class="bold" value="1">SECTION 1. </num><heading>SHORT TITLE.</heading><content style="-uslm-lc:I658120">  This Act may be cited as the “<shortTitle role="act">Quarterly Financial Report Reauthorization Act</shortTitle>”.</content></section>
<section id="d323554e102" identifier="/us/pl/114/72/s2" role="instruction" style="-uslm-lc:I658141"><num class="fontsize12" value="2">SEC. 2. </num><heading>EXTENSION OF AUTHORITY FOR SECRETARY OF COMMERCE TO CONDUCT QUARTERLY FINANCIAL REPORT PROGRAM.</heading><content style="-uslm-lc:I658120">  Section 4(b) of the Act entitled “An Act to amend <ref href="/us/usc/t13">title 13, United States Code</ref>, to transfer responsibility for the quarterly financial report from the Federal Trade Commission to the Secretary of Commerce, and for other purposes”, approved January 12, 1983 (<ref href="/us/pl/97/454">Public Law 97–454</ref>; <ref href="/us/usc/t13/s91">13 U.S.C. 91 note</ref>), <amendingAction type="amend">is amended</amendingAction> by <amendingAction type="delete">striking</amendingAction> “<quotedText>2015</quotedText>” and <amendingAction type="insert">inserting</amendingAction> “<quotedText>2030</quotedText>”.</content></section>
<section id="d323554e128" identifier="/us/pl/114/72/s3" style="-uslm-lc:I658141"><num class="fontsize12" value="3">SEC. 3. </num><heading>REPORT ON DATA SECURITY PROCEDURES OF THE BUREAU OF THE CENSUS.</heading><subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="y7b58c27f-e844-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/72/s3/a" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="a">(a) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Review</inline>.—</heading><content>The Secretary of Commerce shall conduct a review of the data security procedures of the Bureau of the Census, including such procedures that have been implemented since the data breaches of systems of the Office of Personnel Management were announced in 2015.</content></subsection>
<subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="y7b58c280-e844-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/72/s3/b" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="b">(b) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Report</inline>.—</heading><paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y7b58c281-e844-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/72/s3/b/1" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="1">(1) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Requirement</inline>.—</heading><content>Not later than 90 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Commerce shall submit to the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs of the Senate and the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform of the House of Representatives a report on the review required by subsection (a).</content></paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y7b58c282-e844-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/72/s3/b/2" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="2">(2) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Contents</inline>.—</heading><chapeau>The report required by paragraph (1) shall—</chapeau><subparagraph class="fontsize10" id="y7b58c283-e844-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/72/s3/b/2/A" style="-uslm-lc:I658124"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="A">(A) </num><content>identify all information systems of the Bureau of the Census that contain sensitive information;</content></subparagraph>
<subparagraph class="fontsize10" id="y7b58c284-e844-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/72/s3/b/2/B" style="-uslm-lc:I658124"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="B">(B) </num><content>described any actions carried out by the Secretary of Commerce or the Director of the Bureau of the Census to secure sensitive information that have been implemented since the data breaches of systems of the Office of Personnel Management were announced in 2015;</content></subparagraph>
<subparagraph class="fontsize10" id="y7b58c285-e844-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/72/s3/b/2/C" style="-uslm-lc:I658124"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="C">(C) </num><content>identify any known data breaches of information systems of the Bureau of the Census that contain sensitive information; and<page identifier="/us/stat/129/567">129 STAT. 567</page></content></subparagraph>
<subparagraph class="fontsize10" id="y7b58c286-e844-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/72/s3/b/2/D" style="-uslm-lc:I658124"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="D">(D) </num><content>identify whether the Bureau of the Census stores any information that, if combined with other such information, would comprise classified information.</content></subparagraph>
