<section id="d332590e98" identifier="/us/pl/114/232/s1" style="-uslm-lc:I658146"><num class="bold" value="1">SECTION 1. </num><heading>SHORT TITLE.</heading><content style="-uslm-lc:I658120">  This Act may be cited as the “<shortTitle role="act">Nevada Native Nations Land Act</shortTitle>”.</content></section>
<section id="d332590e108" identifier="/us/pl/114/232/s2" role="definitions" style="-uslm-lc:I658141"><num class="fontsize12" value="2">SEC. 2. </num><heading>DEFINITION OF SECRETARY.</heading><content style="-uslm-lc:I658120">  In this Act, the term “<term>Secretary</term>” means the Secretary of the Interior.</content></section>
<section id="d332590e115" identifier="/us/pl/114/232/s3" style="-uslm-lc:I658141"><num class="fontsize12" value="3">SEC. 3. </num><heading>CONVEYANCE OF LAND TO BE HELD IN TRUST FOR CERTAIN INDIAN TRIBES.</heading><subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="y3885d198-e85a-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/232/s3/a" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="a">(a) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Conveyance of Land To Be Held in Trust for the Fort McDermitt Paiute and Shoshone Tribe</inline>.—</heading><paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y3885d199-e85a-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/232/s3/a/1" role="definitions" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="1">(1) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Definition of map</inline>.—</heading><content>In this subsection, the term “<term>map</term>” means the map entitled “Fort McDermitt Indian Reservation Expansion Act”, dated February 21, 2013, and on file and available for public inspection in the appropriate offices of the Bureau of Land Management.</content></paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y3885d19a-e85a-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/232/s3/a/2" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="2">(2) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Conveyance of land</inline>.—</heading><chapeau>Subject to valid existing rights, all right, title, and interest of the United States in and to the land described in paragraph (3)—</chapeau><subparagraph class="fontsize10" id="y3885d19b-e85a-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/232/s3/a/2/A" style="-uslm-lc:I658124"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="A">(A) </num><content>is held in trust by the United States for the benefit of the Fort McDermitt Paiute and Shoshone Tribe; and</content></subparagraph>
<subparagraph class="fontsize10" id="y3885d19c-e85a-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/232/s3/a/2/B" style="-uslm-lc:I658124"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="B">(B) </num><content>shall be part of the reservation of the Fort McDermitt Paiute and Shoshone Tribe.</content></subparagraph>
</paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y3885d19d-e85a-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/232/s3/a/3" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="3">(3) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Description of land</inline>.—</heading><content>The land referred to in paragraph (2) is the approximately 19,094 acres of land administered by the Bureau of Land Management as generally depicted on the map as “Reservation Expansion Lands”.</content></paragraph>
</subsection>
<subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="y3885d19e-e85a-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/232/s3/b" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="b">(b) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Conveyance of Land To Be Held in Trust for the Shoshone Paiute Tribes</inline>.—</heading><paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y3885d19f-e85a-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/232/s3/b/1" role="definitions" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="1">(1) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Definition of map</inline>.—</heading><content>In this subsection, the term “<term>map</term>” means the map entitled “Mountain City Administrative Site Proposed Acquisition”, dated July 29, 2013, and on file and available for public inspection in the appropriate offices of the Forest Service.</content></paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y3885d1a0-e85a-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/232/s3/b/2" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="2">(2) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Conveyance of land</inline>.—</heading><chapeau>Subject to valid existing rights and paragraph (4), all right, title, and interest of the United States in and to the land described in paragraph (3)—<page identifier="/us/stat/130/959">130 STAT. 959</page></chapeau><subparagraph class="fontsize10" id="y3885d1a1-e85a-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/232/s3/b/2/A" style="-uslm-lc:I658124"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="A">(A) </num><content>is held in trust by the United States for the benefit of the Shoshone Paiute Tribes of the Duck Valley Indian Reservation; and</content></subparagraph>
<subparagraph class="fontsize10" id="y3885d1a2-e85a-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/232/s3/b/2/B" style="-uslm-lc:I658124"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="B">(B) </num><content>shall be part of the reservation of the Shoshone Paiute Tribes of the Duck Valley Indian Reservation.</content></subparagraph>
</paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y3885d1a3-e85a-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/232/s3/b/3" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="3">(3) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Description of land</inline>.—</heading><content>The land referred to in paragraph (2) is the approximately 82 acres of land administered by the Forest Service as generally depicted on the map as “Proposed Acquisition Site”.</content></paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y3885d1a4-e85a-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/232/s3/b/4" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="4">(4) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Condition on conveyance</inline>.—</heading><content>The conveyance under paragraph (2) shall be subject to the reservation of an easement on the conveyed land for a road to provide access to adjacent National Forest System land for use by the Forest Service for administrative purposes.</content></paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y3885d1a5-e85a-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/232/s3/b/5" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="5">(5) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Facilities and improvements</inline>.—</heading><content>The Secretary of Agriculture (acting through the Chief of the Forest Service) shall convey to the Shoshone Paiute Tribes of the Duck Valley Indian Reservation any existing facilities or improvements to the land described in paragraph (3).</content></paragraph>
</subsection>
<subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="y3885d1a6-e85a-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/232/s3/c" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="c">(c) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Conveyance of Land To Be Held in Trust for the Summit Lake Paiute Tribe</inline>.—</heading><paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y3885d1a7-e85a-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/232/s3/c/1" role="definitions" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="1">(1) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Definition of map</inline>.—</heading><content>In this section, the term “<term>map</term>” means the map entitled “Summit Lake Indian Reservation Conveyance”, dated February 28, 2013, and on file and available for public inspection in the appropriate offices of the Bureau of Land Management.</content></paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y3885d1a8-e85a-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/232/s3/c/2" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="2">(2) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Conveyance of land</inline>.—</heading><chapeau>Subject to valid existing rights, all right, title, and interest of the United States in and to the land described in paragraph (3)—</chapeau><subparagraph class="fontsize10" id="y3885d1a9-e85a-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/232/s3/c/2/A" style="-uslm-lc:I658124"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="A">(A) </num><content>is held in trust by the United States for the benefit of the Summit Lake Paiute Tribe; and</content></subparagraph>
<subparagraph class="fontsize10" id="y3885d1aa-e85a-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/232/s3/c/2/B" style="-uslm-lc:I658124"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="B">(B) </num><content>shall be part of the reservation of the Summit Lake Paiute Tribe.</content></subparagraph>

<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y3885d1ab-e85a-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/232/s3/c/3" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="3">(3) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Description of land</inline>.—</heading><content>The land referred to in paragraph (2) is the approximately 941 acres of land administered by the Bureau of Land Management as generally depicted on the map as “Reservation Conveyance Lands”.</content></paragraph>
</subsection>
<subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="y3885d1ac-e85a-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/232/s3/d" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="d">(d) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Conveyance of Land To Be Held in Trust for the Reno-Sparks Indian Colony</inline>.—</heading><paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y3885d1ad-e85a-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/232/s3/d/1" role="definitions" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="1">(1) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Definition of map</inline>.—</heading><content>In this subsection, the term “<term>map</term>” means the map entitled “Reno-Sparks Indian Colony Expansion”, dated June 11, 2014, and on file and available for public inspection in the appropriate offices of the Bureau of Land Management.</content></paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y3885d1ae-e85a-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/232/s3/d/2" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="2">(2) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Conveyance of land</inline>.—</heading><chapeau>Subject to valid existing rights, all right, title, and interest of the United States in and to the land described in paragraph (3)—</chapeau><subparagraph class="fontsize10" id="y3885d1af-e85a-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/232/s3/d/2/A" style="-uslm-lc:I658124"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="A">(A) </num><content>is held in trust by the United States for the benefit of the Reno-Sparks Indian Colony; and</content></subparagraph>
<subparagraph class="fontsize10" id="y3885d1b0-e85a-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/232/s3/d/2/B" style="-uslm-lc:I658124"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="B">(B) </num><content>shall be part of the reservation of the Reno-Sparks Indian Colony.</content></subparagraph>

<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y3885d1b1-e85a-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/232/s3/d/3" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="3">(3) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Description of land</inline>.—</heading><content>The land referred to in paragraph (2) is the approximately 13,434 acres of land administered by the Bureau of Land Management as generally depicted on the map as “RSIC Amended Boundary”.</content></paragraph>

<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y3885d1ba-e85a-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/232/s3/f/2" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="2">(2) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Conveyance of land</inline>.—</heading><chapeau>Subject to valid existing rights, all right, title, and interest of the United States in and to the land described in paragraph (3)—</chapeau><subparagraph class="fontsize10" id="y3885d1bb-e85a-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/232/s3/f/2/A" style="-uslm-lc:I658124"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="A">(A) </num><content>is held in trust by the United States for the benefit of the Duckwater Shoshone Tribe; and</content></subparagraph>
<subparagraph class="fontsize10" id="y3885d1bc-e85a-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/232/s3/f/2/B" style="-uslm-lc:I658124"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="B">(B) </num><content>shall be part of the reservation of the Duckwater Shoshone Tribe.</content></subparagraph>
</paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y3885d1bd-e85a-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/232/s3/f/3" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="3">(3) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Description of land</inline>.—</heading><content>The land referred to in paragraph (2) is the approximately 31,229 acres of land administered by the Bureau of Land Management as generally depicted on the map as “Reservation Expansion Lands”.</content></paragraph>
</subsection>
<subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="y3885d1be-e85a-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/232/s3/g" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="g">(g) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Revocation of Public Land Orders</inline>.—</heading><content>Any public land order that withdraws any portion of land conveyed to an Indian tribe under this section shall be revoked to the extent necessary to permit the conveyance of the land.</content></subsection>

<section id="d332590e425" identifier="/us/pl/114/232/s4" style="-uslm-lc:I658141"><num class="fontsize12" value="4">SEC. 4. </num><heading>ADMINISTRATION.</heading><subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="y38861fdf-e85a-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/232/s4/a" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="a">(a) </num><sidenote><p class="leftAlign firstIndent0 fontsize8" id="x38861fe0-e85a-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" style="-uslm-lc:I658180">Deadline.</p></sidenote><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Survey</inline>.—</heading><content>Not later than 180 days after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary shall complete a survey of the boundary lines to establish the boundaries of the land taken into trust for each Indian tribe under section 3.</content></subsection>
<subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="y38861fe1-e85a-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/232/s4/b" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="b">(b) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Use of Trust Land</inline>.—</heading><paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y38861fe2-e85a-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/232/s4/b/1" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="1">(1) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Gaming</inline>.—</heading><content>Land taken into trust under section 3 shall not be eligible, or considered to have been taken into trust, for class II gaming or class III gaming (as those terms are defined in section 4 of the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act (<ref href="/us/usc/t25/s2703">25 U.S.C. 2703</ref>)).</content></paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y38861fe3-e85a-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/232/s4/b/2" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="2">(2) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Thinning; landscape restoration</inline>.—</heading><content>With respect to the land taken into trust under section 3, the Secretary, in consultation and coordination with the applicable Indian tribe, may carry out any fuel reduction and other landscape restoration activities, including restoration of sage grouse habitat, <page identifier="/us/stat/130/960">130 STAT. 960</page>
on the land that is beneficial to the Indian tribe and the Bureau of Land Management.</content></paragraph>
