<section id="d336437e92" identifier="/us/pl/114/188/s1" style="-uslm-lc:I658146"><num class="bold" value="1">SECTION 1. </num><heading>SHORT TITLE.</heading><content style="-uslm-lc:I658120">  This Act may be cited as the “<shortTitle role="act">Female Veteran Suicide Prevention Act</shortTitle>”.</content></section>
<section id="d336437e102" identifier="/us/pl/114/188/s2" role="instruction" style="-uslm-lc:I658141"><num class="fontsize12" value="2">SEC. 2. </num><heading>SPECIFIC CONSIDERATION OF WOMEN VETERANS IN EVALUATION OF DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS MENTAL HEALTH CARE AND SUICIDE PREVENTION PROGRAMS.</heading><chapeau class="indentUp0 firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="x653fd8dc-e861-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" style="-uslm-lc:I658120">  <ref href="/us/usc/t38/s1709B/a/2">Section 1709B(a)(2) of title 38, United States Code</ref>, <amendingAction type="amend">is amended</amendingAction>—</chapeau><paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y653fd8dd-e861-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/188/s2/1" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="1">(1) </num><content>in subparagraph (A), by <amendingAction type="insert">inserting</amendingAction> before the semicolon the following: “<quotedText>, including metrics applicable specifically to women</quotedText>”;</content></paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y653fd8de-e861-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/188/s2/2" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="2">(2) </num><content>in subparagraph (D), by <amendingAction type="delete">striking</amendingAction> “<quotedText>and</quotedText>” at the end;</content></paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y653fd8df-e861-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/188/s2/3" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="3">(3) </num><content>in subparagraph (E), by <amendingAction type="delete">striking</amendingAction> the period at the end and <amendingAction type="insert">inserting</amendingAction> “<quotedText>; and</quotedText>”; and</content></paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y653fd8e0-e861-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/188/s2/4" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="4">(4) </num><content>by <amendingAction type="add">adding</amendingAction> at the end the following new subparagraph:<quotedContent><subparagraph class="indentUp0 fontsize10" id="y653fd8e1-e861-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="F">“(F) </num><content>identify the mental health care and suicide prevention programs conducted by the Secretary that are most effective <page identifier="/us/stat/130/612">130 STAT. 612</page>
for women veterans and such programs with the highest satisfaction rates among women veterans.”</content></subparagraph>
