<section id="d339187e94" identifier="/us/pl/114/147/s1" style="-uslm-lc:I658146"><num class="bold" value="1">SECTION 1. </num><heading>SHORT TITLE.</heading><content style="-uslm-lc:I658120">  This Act may be cited as the “<shortTitle role="act">National POW/MIA Remembrance Act of 2015</shortTitle>”.</content></section>
<section id="d339187e104" identifier="/us/pl/114/147/s2" style="-uslm-lc:I658141"><num class="fontsize12" value="2">SEC. 2. </num><heading>FINDINGS.</heading><chapeau class="indentUp0 firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="xddccfe32-e867-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" style="-uslm-lc:I658120">  Congress finds the following:</chapeau><paragraph class="fontsize10" id="yddccfe33-e867-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/147/s2/1" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="1">(1) </num><content>In recent years, commemorative chairs honoring American Prisoners of War/Missing in Action have been placed in prominent locations across the United States.</content></paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="yddccfe34-e867-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/147/s2/2" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="2">(2) </num><content>The United States Capitol is an appropriate location to place a commemorative chair honoring American Prisoners of War/Missing in Action.</content></paragraph>

<section id="d339187e121" identifier="/us/pl/114/147/s3" style="-uslm-lc:I658141"><num class="fontsize12" value="3">SEC. 3. </num><heading>PLACEMENT OF A CHAIR IN UNITED STATES CAPITOL HONORING AMERICAN PRISONERS OF WAR/MISSING IN ACTION.</heading><subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="yddcd2545-e867-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/147/s3/a" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="a">(a) </num><sidenote><p class="leftAlign firstIndent0 fontsize8" id="xddcd2546-e867-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" style="-uslm-lc:I658180">Contracts.</p></sidenote><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Obtaining Chair</inline>.—</heading><content>The Architect of the Capitol shall enter into an agreement to obtain a chair featuring the logo of the National League of POW/MIA Families under such terms and conditions as the Architect considers appropriate and consistent with applicable law.</content></subsection>
<subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="yddcd2547-e867-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/147/s3/b" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="b">(b) </num><sidenote><p class="leftAlign firstIndent0 fontsize8" id="xddcd2548-e867-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" style="-uslm-lc:I658180">Deadline.</p></sidenote><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Placement</inline>.—</heading><content>Not later than 2 years after the date of enactment of this Act, the Architect shall place the chair obtained under subsection (a) in a suitable permanent location in the United States Capitol.</content></subsection>

<section id="d339187e151" identifier="/us/pl/114/147/s4" style="-uslm-lc:I658141"><num class="fontsize12" value="4">SEC. 4. </num><heading>FUNDING.</heading><subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="yddcd4c59-e867-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/147/s4/a" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="a">(a) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Donations</inline>.—</heading><chapeau>The Architect of the Capitol may—</chapeau><paragraph class="fontsize10" id="yddcd4c5a-e867-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/147/s4/a/1" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="1">(1) </num><content>enter into an agreement with any organization described in section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 that is exempt from taxation under section 501(a) of that Code to solicit private donations to carry out the purposes of this Act; and</content></paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="yddcd4c5b-e867-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/147/s4/a/2" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="2">(2) </num><content>accept donations of funds, property, and services to carry out the purposes of this Act.<page identifier="/us/stat/130/359">130 STAT. 359</page></content></paragraph>
</subsection>
<subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="yddcd4c5c-e867-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/114/147/s4/b" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="b">(b) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Costs</inline>.—</heading><content>All costs incurred in carrying out the purposes of this Act shall be paid for with private donations received under subsection (a).</content></subsection>
