<section id="d357279e85" identifier="/us/pl/113/78/s1" style="-uslm-lc:I658146"><num class="bold" value="1">SECTION 1. </num><sidenote><p class="leftAlign firstIndent0 fontsize8" id="xf4b5a301-e874-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" style="-uslm-lc:I658180"><ref href="/us/usc/t40/s8903">40 USC 8903 note</ref>.</p></sidenote><heading>MEMORIAL TO COMMEMORATE AMERICA’S COMMITMENT TO INTERNATIONAL SERVICE AND GLOBAL PROSPERITY.</heading><subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="yf4b5ca12-e874-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/113/78/s1/a" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="a">(a) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Authorization To Establish Commemorative Work</inline>.—</heading><content>The Peace Corps Commemorative Foundation may establish a commemorative work on Federal land in the District of Columbia and its environs to commemorate the mission of the Peace Corps and the ideals on which the Peace Corps was founded.</content></subsection>
<subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="yf4b5ca13-e874-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/113/78/s1/b" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="b">(b) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Compliance With Standards for Commemorative Works Act</inline>.—</heading><content>The establishment of the commemorative work under this section shall be in accordance with <ref href="/us/usc/t40/ch89">chapter 89 of title 40, United States Code</ref> (commonly known as the “Commemorative Works Act”).</content></subsection>
<subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="yf4b5ca14-e874-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/113/78/s1/c" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="c">(c) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Use of Federal Funds Prohibited</inline>.—</heading><paragraph class="fontsize10" id="yf4b5ca15-e874-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/113/78/s1/c/1" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="1">(1) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">In general</inline>.—</heading><content>Federal funds may not be used to pay any expense of the establishment of the commemorative work under this section.</content></paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="yf4b5ca16-e874-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/113/78/s1/c/2" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="2">(2) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Responsibility of peace corps</inline>.—</heading><content>The Peace Corps Commemorative Foundation shall be solely responsible for acceptance of contributions for, and payment of the expenses of, the establishment of the commemorative work under this section.</content></paragraph>
</subsection>
<subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="yf4b5ca17-e874-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/113/78/s1/d" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="d">(d) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Deposit of Excess Funds</inline>.—</heading><content>If, on payment of all expenses for the establishment of the commemorative work under this section (including the maintenance and preservation amount required by <ref href="/us/usc/t40/s8906/b/1">section 8906(b)(1) of title 40, United States Code</ref>), or on expiration of the authority for the commemorative work under <ref href="/us/usc/t40/s8903/e">section 8903(e) of title 40, United States Code</ref>, there remains a balance of funds received for the establishment of the commemorative work, the Peace Corps Commemorative Foundation shall transmit the amount of the balance to the Secretary of the Interior for deposit in the account provided for in <ref href="/us/usc/t40/s8906/b/3">section 8906(b)(3) of title 40, United States Code</ref>.</content></subsection>

<section id="d357279e162" identifier="/us/pl/113/78/s2" style="-uslm-lc:I658141"><num class="fontsize12" value="2">SEC. 2. </num><heading>BUDGETARY EFFECTS.</heading><content style="-uslm-lc:I658120">  The budgetary effects of this Act, for the purpose of complying with the Statutory Pay-As-You-Go Act of 2010, shall be determined by reference to the latest statement titled “Budgetary Effects of PAYGO Legislation” for this Act, submitted for printing in the <page identifier="/us/stat/127/648">127 STAT. 648</page>
Congressional Record by the Chairman of the Senate Budget Committee, provided that such statement has been submitted prior to the vote on passage.</content></section>
