<section id="d259906e85" identifier="/us/pl/113/72/s1" role="instruction" style="-uslm-lc:I658146"><num class="bold" value="1">SECTION 1. </num><heading>EXTENSION OF ADMINISTRATIVE PENALTY AUTHORITY OF FEDERAL ELECTION COMMISSION THROUGH 2018.</heading><content style="-uslm-lc:I658120">  Section 309(a)(4)(C)(iv) of the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971 (<ref href="/us/usc/t2/s437g/a/4/C/iv">2 U.S.C. 437g(a)(4)(C)(iv)</ref>) <amendingAction type="amend">is amended</amendingAction> by <amendingAction type="delete">striking</amendingAction> “<quotedText>December 31, 2013</quotedText>” and <amendingAction type="insert">inserting</amendingAction> “<quotedText>December 31, 2018</quotedText>”.</content></section>
<section id="d259906e104" identifier="/us/pl/113/72/s2" style="-uslm-lc:I658141"><num class="fontsize12" value="2">SEC. 2. </num><heading>EXPANSION OF ADMINISTRATIVE PENALTY AUTHORITY OF FEDERAL ELECTION COMMISSION.</heading><subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="yd0f80c87-e875-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" identifier="/us/pl/113/72/s2/a" role="instruction" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="a">(a) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Application to Qualified Disclosure Requirements</inline>.—</heading><content>Section 309(a)(4)(C)(i) of the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971 (<ref href="/us/usc/t2/s437g/a/4/C/i">2 U.S.C. 437g(a)(4)(C)(i)</ref>) <amendingAction type="amend">is amended</amendingAction> by <amendingAction type="delete">striking</amendingAction> “<quotedText>any requirement of section 304(a) of the Act (<ref href="/us/usc/t2/s434/a">2 U.S.C. 434(a)</ref>)</quotedText>” and <amendingAction type="insert">inserting</amendingAction> “<quotedText>a qualified disclosure requirement</quotedText>”.</content></subsection>
<subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="yd0f80c88-e875-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" identifier="/us/pl/113/72/s2/b" role="instruction" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="b">(b) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Schedule of Penalties for Each Violation</inline>.—</heading><content>Section 309(a)(4)(C)(i)(II) of the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971 (<ref href="/us/usc/t2/s437g/a/4/C/i/II">2 U.S.C. 437g(a)(4)(C)(i)(II)</ref>) <amendingAction type="amend">is amended</amendingAction> by <amendingAction type="insert">inserting</amendingAction> “<quotedText>, for violations of each qualified disclosure requirement,</quotedText>” before “<quotedText>under a schedule of penalties</quotedText>”.</content></subsection>
<subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="yd0f80c89-e875-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" identifier="/us/pl/113/72/s2/c" role="instruction" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="c">(c) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Definition of Qualified Disclosure Requirement</inline>.—</heading><chapeau>Section 309(a)(4)(C) of the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971 (<ref href="/us/usc/t2/s437g/a/4/C">2 U.S.C. 437g(a)(4)(C)</ref>) <amendingAction type="amend">is amended</amendingAction>—</chapeau><paragraph class="fontsize10" id="yd0f80c8a-e875-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" identifier="/us/pl/113/72/s2/c/1" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="1">(1) </num><content>by <amendingAction type="redesignate">redesignating</amendingAction> clause (iv), as amended by section 1, as clause (v); and</content></paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="yd0f80c8b-e875-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" identifier="/us/pl/113/72/s2/c/2" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="2">(2) </num><content>by <amendingAction type="insert">inserting</amendingAction> after clause (iii) the following new clause:<quotedContent><clause class="fontsize10" id="yd0f80c8c-e875-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" role="definitions" style="-uslm-lc:I658124"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="iv">“(iv) </num><chapeau>In this subparagraph, the term ‘<term>qualified disclosure requirement</term>’ means any requirement of—</chapeau><subclause class="fontsize10" id="yd0f80c8d-e875-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" style="-uslm-lc:I658126"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="I">“(I) </num><content>subsections (a), (c), (e), (f), (g), or (i) of section 304; or</content></subclause>

<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="yd0f833a2-e875-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" identifier="/us/pl/113/72/s3/2" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="2">(2) </num><content>the date of the enactment of this Act.</content></paragraph>
