<section id="d286200e92" identifier="/us/pl/113/262/s1" style="-uslm-lc:I658146"><num class="bold" value="1">SECTION 1. </num><heading>SHORT TITLE.</heading><content style="-uslm-lc:I658120">  This Act may be cited as the “<shortTitle role="act">May 31, 1918 Act Repeal Act</shortTitle>”.</content></section>
<section id="d286200e102" identifier="/us/pl/113/262/s2" style="-uslm-lc:I658141"><num class="fontsize12" value="2">SEC. 2. </num><heading>DEFINITIONS.</heading><chapeau class="indentUp0 firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="x1b6dac0c-e882-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" style="-uslm-lc:I658120">  In this Act:</chapeau><paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y1b6dac0d-e882-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" identifier="/us/pl/113/262/s2/1" role="definitions" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="1">(1) </num><heading class="fontsize10 smallCaps">1918 act<inline class="noSmallCaps">.—</inline></heading><content>The term “<term>1918 Act</term>” means the Act of May 31, 1918 (<ref href="/us/stat/40/592/ch88">40 Stat. 592, chapter 88</ref>).</content></paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y1b6dac0e-e882-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" identifier="/us/pl/113/262/s2/2" role="definitions" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="2">(2) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Fort hall townsite</inline>.—</heading><content>The term “<term>Fort Hall Townsite</term>” means the land that was taken out of trust by being set aside or set apart under the 1918 Act on the Fort Hall Reservation, consisting of approximately 120 acres in the East Half of the Northeast Quarter in Section 35 and the West Half of the West Half of the Northwest Quarter in Section 36, Township 4 South, Range 34 East, Boise Meridian, Idaho, based upon a survey completed on May 19, 1921, and depicted on the document entitled “Plat of the Townsite of Fort Hall” on file with Bingham County, Idaho and the Tribes.</content></paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y1b6dac0f-e882-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" identifier="/us/pl/113/262/s2/3" role="definitions" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="3">(3) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Tribes</inline>.—</heading><content>The term “<term>Tribes</term>” means the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes of the Fort Hall Reservation.</content></paragraph>

<section id="d286200e140" identifier="/us/pl/113/262/s3" role="instruction" style="-uslm-lc:I658141"><num class="fontsize12" value="3">SEC. 3. </num><heading>REPEAL.</heading><content style="-uslm-lc:I658120">  The 1918 Act is <amendingAction type="repeal">repealed</amendingAction>.</content></section>
<section id="d286200e151" identifier="/us/pl/113/262/s4" style="-uslm-lc:I658141"><num class="fontsize12" value="4">SEC. 4. </num><heading>RIGHT OF FIRST REFUSAL.</heading><subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="y1b6dfa30-e882-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" identifier="/us/pl/113/262/s4/a" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="a">(a) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">In General</inline>.—</heading><chapeau>The Tribes shall have the exclusive right of first refusal to purchase at fair market value any land—</chapeau><paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y1b6dfa31-e882-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" identifier="/us/pl/113/262/s4/a/1" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="1">(1) </num><content>within the Fort Hall Townsite; and</content></paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y1b6dfa32-e882-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" identifier="/us/pl/113/262/s4/a/2" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="2">(2) </num><content>offered for sale.</content></paragraph>
</subsection>
<subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="y1b6dfa33-e882-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" identifier="/us/pl/113/262/s4/b" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="b">(b) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Acquired Land Held in Trust</inline>.—</heading><chapeau>The United States shall hold in trust for the benefit of the Tribes or a member of the Tribes, as applicable—</chapeau><paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y1b6dfa34-e882-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" identifier="/us/pl/113/262/s4/b/1" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="1">(1) </num><content>any land owned or acquired by the Tribes or a member of the Tribes within the Fort Hall Townsite before the date of enactment of this Act; and</content></paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y1b6dfa35-e882-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" identifier="/us/pl/113/262/s4/b/2" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="2">(2) </num><content>any land owned or acquired by the Tribes or a member of the Tribes within the Fort Hall Townsite on or after the date of enactment of this Act.<page identifier="/us/stat/128/2936">128 STAT. 2936</page></content></paragraph>
</subsection>
</section>
<section id="d286200e197" identifier="/us/pl/113/262/s5" style="-uslm-lc:I658141"><num class="fontsize12" value="5">SEC. 5. </num><heading>EFFECT.</heading><content style="-uslm-lc:I658120">  Nothing in this Act affects any valid right to any land set aside or set apart under the 1918 Act.</content></section>
