<section id="d294823e94" identifier="/us/pl/113/173/s1" style="-uslm-lc:I658146"><num class="bold" value="1">SECTION 1. </num><heading>SHORT TITLE.</heading><content style="-uslm-lc:I658120">  This Act may be cited as the “<shortTitle role="act">Examination and Supervisory Privilege Parity Act of 2014</shortTitle>”.</content></section>
<section id="d294823e104" identifier="/us/pl/113/173/s2" role="instruction" style="-uslm-lc:I658141"><num class="fontsize12" value="2">SEC. 2. </num><heading>PRIVILEGE OF INFORMATION SHARED BY CERTAIN NONDEPOSITORY COVERED PERSONS.</heading><chapeau class="indentUp0 firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="x4f6aa886-e890-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" style="-uslm-lc:I658120">  Section 1024(b)(3) of the Consumer Financial Protection Act of 2010 (<ref href="/us/usc/t12/s5514/b/3">12 U.S.C. 5514(b)(3)</ref>) <amendingAction type="amend">is amended</amendingAction>—</chapeau><paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y4f6aa887-e890-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" identifier="/us/pl/113/173/s2/1" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="1">(1) </num><content>by <amendingAction type="delete">striking</amendingAction> “<quotedText>regulators and the State bank regulatory authorities</quotedText>” and <amendingAction type="insert">inserting</amendingAction> “<quotedText>regulators, the State bank regulatory authorities, and the State agencies that licence, supervise, or examine the offering of consumer financial products or services</quotedText>”; and</content></paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y4f6aa888-e890-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" identifier="/us/pl/113/173/s2/2" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="2">(2) </num><content>by <amendingAction type="add">adding</amendingAction> at the end the following: “<quotedText>The sharing of information with such regulators, authorities, and agencies shall not be construed as waiving, destroying, or otherwise affecting any privilege or confidentiality such person may claim with respect to such information under Federal or State law as to any person or entity other than such Bureau, agency, supervisor, or authority.</quotedText>”.</content></paragraph>
