<enactingFormula style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><i>  Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa­tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,</i></enactingFormula>
<section id="d295338e85" identifier="/us/pl/113/167/s1" style="-uslm-lc:I658146"><num class="bold" value="1">SECTION 1. </num><heading>EXEMPTION FOR RESIDENTIAL CONDOMINIUM UNITS.</heading><subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="y53e5180f-e891-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" identifier="/us/pl/113/167/s1/a" role="instruction" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="a">(a) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Exemption</inline>.—</heading><chapeau>Section 1403 of the Interstate Land Sales Full Disclosure Act (<ref href="/us/usc/t15/s1702">15 U.S.C. 1702</ref>) <amendingAction type="amend">is amended</amendingAction>—</chapeau><paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y53e51810-e891-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" identifier="/us/pl/113/167/s1/a/1" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="1">(1) </num><chapeau>in subsection (b)—</chapeau><subparagraph class="fontsize10" id="y53e51811-e891-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" identifier="/us/pl/113/167/s1/a/1/A" style="-uslm-lc:I658124"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="A">(A) </num><content>in paragraph (7)(C), by <amendingAction type="delete">striking</amendingAction> “<quotedText>or</quotedText>” at the end;</content></subparagraph>
<subparagraph class="fontsize10" id="y53e51812-e891-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" identifier="/us/pl/113/167/s1/a/1/B" style="-uslm-lc:I658124"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="B">(B) </num><content>in paragraph (8)(G), by <amendingAction type="delete">striking</amendingAction> the period at the end and <amendingAction type="insert">inserting</amendingAction> “<quotedText>; or</quotedText>”; and</content></subparagraph>
<subparagraph class="fontsize10" id="y53e51813-e891-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" identifier="/us/pl/113/167/s1/a/1/C" style="-uslm-lc:I658124"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="C">(C) </num><content>by <amendingAction type="add">adding</amendingAction> at the end the following:<quotedContent><paragraph class="indentDown1 fontsize10" id="y53e51814-e891-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="9">“(9) </num><content>the sale or lease of a condominium unit that is not exempt under subsection (a).”</content></paragraph>

<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y53e51815-e891-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" identifier="/us/pl/113/167/s1/a/2" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="2">(2) </num><content>by <amendingAction type="add">adding</amendingAction> at the end the following:<quotedContent><subsection class="indentDown1 firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="y53e53f26-e891-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" role="definitions" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="d">“(d) </num><sidenote><p class="leftAlign firstIndent0 fontsize8" id="x53e53f27-e891-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" style="-uslm-lc:I658180">Definition.</p></sidenote><chapeau>For purposes of subsection (b), the term ‘<term>condominium unit</term>’ means a unit of residential or commercial property to be designated for separate ownership pursuant to a condominium plan or declaration provided that upon conveyance—</chapeau><paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y53e53f28-e891-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="1">“(1) </num><content>the owner of such unit will have sole ownership of the unit and an undivided interest in the common elements appurtenant to the unit; and</content></paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y53e53f29-e891-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="2">“(2) </num><content>the unit will be an improved lot.”</content></paragraph>

<section id="d295338e177" identifier="/us/pl/113/167/s2" style="-uslm-lc:I658141"><num class="fontsize12" value="2">SEC. 2. </num><sidenote><p class="leftAlign firstIndent0 fontsize8" id="x53e53f2a-e891-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" style="-uslm-lc:I658180"><ref href="/us/usc/t15/s1702">15 USC 1702 note</ref>.</p></sidenote><heading>EFFECTIVE DATE.</heading><content style="-uslm-lc:I658120">  The amendments made by this Act shall take effect 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act.</content></section>
