The resolution also (1) expresses concern with the actions of Guatemala's Attorney General and Public Ministry in attacking President-elect Bernardo Arevalo's coalition, and (2) urges Guatemala to prioritize and work actively for a peaceful transfer of power. Additionally, it calls on certain U.S. federal departments and agencies to prepare for the possibility that a peaceful transfer of power does not occur.</p>]]></summary-text>
