            <summary-text><![CDATA[<p><strong>Words Matter for the District of Columbia Courts Act</strong></p><p>This bill amends sections of the Code of the District of Columbia to replace the term <em>mentally retarded</em> with the term <em>moderate intellectual disabilities</em>.</p><p>Specifically, the bill replaces the term in sections of the code for the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, and the Family Court of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.</p>]]></summary-text>
