<summary-text><![CDATA[<p><b>Census Form Integrity Act</b></p> <p>This bill prohibits deceptive mail relating to the census.</p> <p>Specifically, the bill prohibits solicitations by nongovernmental entities for information or the contribution of funds that bear the terms</p> <ul> <li><i>census</i>; and</li> <li><i>official</i> or other language suggesting that a response is mandatory or language implying any federal government connection, approval, or endorsement.</li> </ul> <p>This bill shall not apply to matter mailed by a federal agency or mail that bears specified language on the envelope.</p> <p> If the Office of the Postmaster General determines that matter has been placed in the mail in violation of this bill, it shall (1) notify the Bureau of the Census and specified congressional committees, and (2) revoke any mailing permit used by the entity that mailed it for a period of up to one year.</p>]]></summary-text>
