2019-08-06 Introduced in House This bill reauthorizes through FY2024 the Patrick Leahy Bulletproof Vest Partnership (BVP) Program. The BVP Program provides grants to states and localities to purchase body armor vests for law enforcement officers. Under current law, the program is permamently authorized.
