<summary-text><![CDATA[<p><b>Ensuring Medicaid Provides Opportunities for Widespread Equity, Resources, and Care Act or the EMPOWER Care Act</b></p> <p>This bill amends the Deficit Reduction Act of 2005 to extend&nbsp;funding&nbsp;through&nbsp;FY2022 for&nbsp;the Money Follows the Person Rebalancing Demonstration Program and to otherwise revise the program. (Under this program, the Centers for Medicare &amp; Medicaid Services must award grants to state Medicaid programs to assist in rebalancing states' long-term care systems.)</p> <p><br /></p><b></b>]]></summary-text>
