<summary-text><![CDATA[<p><b>Nationally Enhancing the Wellbeing of Babies through Outreach and Research Now Act or the NEWBORN Act</b></p> <p>This bill requires the Health Resources and Services Administration to support pilot programs that address infant mortality. Specifically, grants must be awarded to local and tribal health departments in areas with the highest rates of infant mortality to establish pilot programs that address specified issues, including birth defects, premature births, and sudden infant death syndrome. </p>]]></summary-text>
