<summary-text><![CDATA[<p>This bill provides that if the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is unable to locate any next of kin of a deceased World War I veteran who is eligible for a VA headstone or marker, or would be eligible except for the date of such individual's death, a private cemetery may request the VA to furnish a headstone or marker for the grave or a medallion or other device to signify the individual's veteran status. </p>]]></summary-text>
