2017-10-31 Introduced in House This bill establishes qualifications for, and limitations on, a federal employee or officer who advises or staffs a special counsel whose investigation or prosecution involves an elected official. Specifically, the bill disqualifies a person who has contributed to a candidate or political party for the prior eight years, and prohibits a person from moving to another federal civil service position for five years after completing service.
