The summary of that version is repeated here.)</p> <p>Designates June 2016 as National Post-Traumatic Stress Awareness Month and June 27, 2016, as National Post-Traumatic Stress Awareness Day.</p> <p>Supports efforts of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Department of Defense, as well as the medical community, to educate members of the Armed Forces, veterans, their families, and the public about the causes, symptoms, and treatment of post-traumatic stress.</p> <p> Welcomes the efforts of the VA's National Center for PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) and local Vet Centers to assist veterans suffering from the effects of post-traumatic stress.</p> <p>Encourages Armed Forces commanders to support appropriate treatment of Armed Forces personnel diagnosed with PTSD.</p>]]></summary-text>
