Security Clearance Oversight and Accountability Act 2016-03-17 Introduced in Senate Security Clearance Oversight and Accountability Act

This bill requires the Inspector General of the Department of Defense, rather than the Inspector General of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM), to exercise the duties and responsibilities of an Inspector General under the Inspector General Act of 1978 with respect to OPM's National Background Investigation Bureau.
