<summary-text><![CDATA[<p>Amends Rule XXIII (Code of Official Conduct) of the Rules of the House of Representatives to prohibit a Member, Delegate, Resident Commissioner, officer, or employee of the House from discharging and refusing to hire an individual or otherwise discriminate against them with respect to compensation, terms, conditions, or privileges of employment, because of their actual or perceived:</p> <ul> <li>race,</li> <li>color,</li> <li>religion,</li> <li>sex (including marital or parental status),</li> <li>disability,</li> <li>age, or</li> <li>national origin.</li> </ul> <p>Adds an individual's sexual orientation or gender identity to this list.</p>]]></summary-text>
