2015-11-19 Introduced in House This bill requires the Government Accountability Office to evaluate the feasibility of modifying the five-month waiting period for certain individuals entitled to disability insurance benefits by:

• shortening the waiting period for individuals with more severe disabilities or lower annual household income, and
• shortening or eliminating the waiting period for individuals with a terminal illness.
