<summary-text><![CDATA[<p>Amends the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 to strike a provision that allows individuals convicted of felonies that would otherwise disqualify them from receiving benefits under the Department of Agriculture's (USDA's) supplemental nutrition assistance program (SNAP, formerly known as the food stamp program) to still receive benefits unless they also: failed to comply with the terms of the sentence; fled to avoid prosecution, custody, or confinement; or violated a condition of probation or parole. </p>]]></summary-text>
