Among other elements, the rule amends the new chemicals procedural regulations and also makes per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) and other persistent, bioaccumulative, and toxic chemicals (PBTs) ineligible for certain exemptions under the Toxic Substance Control Act.</p>
