00 2023-03-16 Introduced in Senate 2023-10-20T15:20:41Z <p><strong>Farm Operations Support Act </strong></p> <p>This bill freezes the minimum wage for H-2A (temporary agricultural workers) through December 31, 2023.</p> <p>Specifically, the adverse effect wage rate that was in effect in a state on December 1, 2022, shall remain in effect through December 31, 2023.</p> <p>(Generally, the minimum wage for an H-2A worker is the highest of the adverse effect wage rate, the prevailing hourly wage or piece rate, the federal minimum wage, or the applicable state minimum wage.) </p>
