00 2023-07-03 Introduced in House 2024-08-15T19:37:01Z <p><strong>Improving Contract Transparency at BARDA Act</strong></p><p>This bill establishes a maximum period for a contract between the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) and another entity.&nbsp;</p><p>Specifically, BARDA may initially contract with another entity for up to 5 years; initial contracts that are particularly difficult or complex to perform may be for up to 10 years, if determined necessary. Contracts may be renewed for up to five years at a time.&nbsp;</p>
