        <text><![CDATA[ <p><strong>75th Anniversary of World War II Commemoration Act</strong></p> <p>This bill directs the Department of Defense (DOD) to conduct a program to commemorate the 75th anniversary of World War II.</p> <p>The program may include activities and ceremonies related to achieving the following:</p> <ul> <li>thanking and honoring World War II veterans;</li> <li>educating the public about World War II history, including the role of the federal government and nongovernmental organizations;</li> <li>recognizing the contributions made by the allies and those on the home front; and</li> <li>remembering the Holocaust and the liberation of the concentration camps.</li> </ul> <p>The Department of the Treasury shall establish a Department of Defense World War II Commemoration Fund, to be used to conduct the commemorative program and provide grants for commemorative activities.</p> <p>In designing the program, DOD shall consult with the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.</p>]]></text>
