A smart agriculture industry technology roadmap is a set of policies designed to: (1) guide the future development of technology in the agriculture industry; and (2) help align the efforts of the U.S agriculture industry, the research community, and other members of the agriculture community to increase U.S. efforts to become the global leader in smart farming and agriculture.
