        <text><![CDATA[ <p>This bill amends the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act to exempt from the requirement to maintain minimum essential coverage individuals who reside in areas where a health plan is not available through the health insurance exchange. Such individuals may remain enrolled in a short term health plan as long as a health plan is not available through the exchange.</p>]]></text>
