        <text><![CDATA[ <p><strong>Keep Student Veterans in Their Homes Act of 2016</strong></p> <p>This bill authorizes <horizes > the Department of Veterans Affairs to continue to pay educational assistance and subsistence allowances to eligible veterans and eligible persons enrolled in specified courses solely for a monthly housing stipend of up to four months following a permanent school closure.</p> <p>A housing or educational assistance payment shall not be counted against the aggregate period for which such assistance may be provided or charged against the individual's entitlement to educational assistance.</p>]]></text>
