        <text><![CDATA[ <p><strong>Providing Resources to Improve Dual Language Education Act of 2016 or the PRIDE Act</strong> </p> <p>This bill authorizes the Department of Education (ED) to award up to five grants to partnerships of local educational agencies, early childhood education programs, and technical assistance providers for the implementation of dual language demonstration programs designed to enhance and assess the biliteracy and bilingualism skills of low-income minority and limited English proficient children from preschool through grade five.</p> <p>ED shall: (1) contract with&nbsp;an entity that has dual language program experience to provide technical assistance and program evaluation, and (2) disseminate information on best practices implemented under model programs.</p>]]></text>
