            <header>Short title</header>
 <text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Saving NIST’s Workforce Act</short-title></quote>.</text>

            <header>Reduction in force moratorium at National Institute of Standards and
                Technology</header>
            <subsection id="HBBEC0BC5EBF04E7195D22A420E603DFE">
                <enum>(a)</enum>
                <header>In general</header>
 <text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Until the date that full-year appropriations for the National Institute of Standards and Technology for fiscal year 2026 have been enacted into law, the National Institute of Standards and Technology may not conduct any reduction in force pursuant to sections 3501 through 3504 and 3595 of title 5, United States Code.</text>
            </subsection>
            <subsection display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HDD32D6EEDF27404EBBE216CE2CBAB07A">
                <enum>(b)</enum>
                <header>Application</header>
 <text>For the purposes of carrying out subsection (a), such subsection shall be in addition to any other authority with respect to adverse personnel actions, including chapter 75 of such title 5.</text>
