        <official-title>To amend the Small Business Disaster Response and Loan Improvements Act of
            2008 to require the Small Business Administration to coordinate with resource partners
            with respect to disaster planning activities, and for other purposes.</official-title>

        <section section-type="section-one" id="S1">
            <enum>1.</enum>
            <header>Short title</header>
 <text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Small Business Disaster Coordination Act</short-title></quote>.</text>
        </section>

            <enum>2.</enum>
            <header>Coordination in disaster response and disaster planning</header>
            <subsection id="id86828216846c4106b6c3ffb1aaaf6a33">
                <enum>(a)</enum>
                <header>Disaster response coordination</header>
 <text>The Small Business Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/15/631">15 U.S.C. 631 et seq.</external-xref>) is amended—</text> <paragraph id="id0145151ed64f453aaf729b29bea7283d"> <enum>(1)</enum> <text>in section 4 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/15/633">15 U.S.C. 633</external-xref>), by adding at the end the following:</text>
                    <quoted-block style="OLC" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id7E31AC7A34114A3EAE069C4DCB1D4662">
                        <subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idee9dda09784d4f95ad894f3c94930763">
                            <enum>(i)</enum>
                            <header>Disaster recovery assistance from resource partners</header>
                            <paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idf6cdf3d87d464fe893ed2b1633486e8c">
                                <enum>(1)</enum>
                                <header>Authorization</header>
 <text>At the discretion of the Administrator, the Administrator may authorize a resource partner of the Administration to provide advice, information, and assistance to a small business concern located outside of the area of service in which that resource partner provides services, without regard to geographic proximity to that resource partner, if— </text>
                                <subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id5ca17e0fa5ed41a4ba46e31748d6cb1c">
                                    <enum>(A)</enum>
 <text display-inline="yes-display-inline">the small business concern is located in an area with respect to which loans under section 7(b)(2) may be made; and</text>
                                </subparagraph>
                                <subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id15b3eea5e4034563ab0fa4aac910fdfe">
                                    <enum>(B)</enum>
 <text>in providing that advice, information, and assistance, the resource partner coordinates with another resource partner that serves the area in which the small business concern is located.</text>
                                </subparagraph>
                            </paragraph>
                            <paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id43ac34f92a7e4753b1a0068c6af5bd75">
                                <enum>(2)</enum>
                                <header>Period of assistance</header>
                                <subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idfe078bf8b2a440e592d4e14bdd1d38f8">
                                    <enum>(A)</enum>
                                    <header display-inline="yes-display-inline">In general</header>
 <text display-inline="yes-display-inline">A resource partner of the Administration may provide advice, information, and assistance to a small business concern under paragraph (1) for a period of not more than 2 years after the date on which the applicable disaster has been determined to exist.</text>
                                </subparagraph>
                                <subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idde6cf4fabc424d969bead6063d24051b">
                                    <enum>(B)</enum>
                                    <header>Extension</header>
 <text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Administrator may, at the discretion of the Administrator, extend the period described in subparagraph (A).</text>
                                </subparagraph>
                            </paragraph>
                            <paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idd8daba56249e4404bd26fe4a34d94d7f">
                                <enum>(3)</enum>
                                <header>Continuity of services</header>
 <text display-inline="yes-display-inline">A resource partner of the Administration that provides counselors to an area pursuant to an authorization under paragraph (1) shall, to the maximum extent practicable, ensure continuity of services in any area of service in which that resource partner otherwise provides services.</text>
                            </paragraph>
                            <paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="ide5a35f28c82849a08b768782160f64e9">
                                <enum>(4)</enum>
                                <header>Sites and facilities</header>
 <text display-inline="yes-display-inline">For purposes of this subsection, the Administrator shall, to the maximum extent practicable, permit the personnel of a resource partner of the Administration to use any site or facility designated by the Administrator for use to provide disaster recovery assistance.</text>
                            </paragraph>
                        </subsection>

                </paragraph>

                    <enum>(2)</enum>
 <text>in section 7(b)(5) (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/15/636">15 U.S.C. 636(b)(5)</external-xref>)—</text> <subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id4a4e50d0d5d5443499db77fb9f62ad85"> <enum>(A)</enum> <text>by redesignating subparagraphs (A) through (G) as clauses (i) through (vii), respectively, and adjusting the margins accordingly;</text>
                    </subparagraph>
                    <subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idb8d202bf5cb44cb885737fde6ea97226">
                        <enum>(B)</enum>
 <text>by striking <quote>If a disaster</quote> and inserting the following:</text>

                                <enum>(A)</enum>
                                <header>In general</header>
 <text>If a disaster</text> </subparagraph> <after-quoted-block>; </after-quoted-block> </quoted-block> </subparagraph> <subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id57de08663af247ff8a58770482afd00a"> <enum>(C)</enum> <text display-inline="yes-display-inline">in subparagraph (A), as so redesignated—</text>
                        <clause commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id38b79189efac4491b900db580048b4c6">
                            <enum>(i)</enum>
 <text display-inline="yes-display-inline">in clause (vi), as so redesignated, by striking <quote>and</quote> at the end;</text>
                        </clause>
                        <clause id="id30787dcf9a2544d79f7cdb68743cc8e5">
                            <enum>(ii)</enum>
 <text>in clause (vii), as so redesignated, by striking the period at the end and inserting <quote>; and</quote>; and</text>
                        </clause>
                        <clause commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idddf7b5e3e7af4a859cc4d00d1dcce695">
                            <enum>(iii)</enum>
 <text>by adding at the end the following:</text> <quoted-block id="idB95E062B05874714AB0177EED8084616" style="OLC" act-name=""> <clause id="idED98EA4DF6044F7B943C35A6876411D1"> <enum>(viii)</enum> <text>links to websites of resource partners of the Administration.</text>
                                </clause>

                            </quoted-block>
                        </clause>
                    </subparagraph>
                    <subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id8c1e3912a12e4194835fe4488519071e">
                        <enum>(D)</enum>
 <text>by adding at the end the following:</text> <quoted-block id="id90559485DB2C48F7B77A849437F1CBCC" style="OLC" act-name=""> <subparagraph id="id6B791329A8A740E08238CD4C70AC49F7"> <enum>(B)</enum> <header>Provision of information to resource partners</header> <text>In carrying out subparagraph (A), the Administrator shall make all information communicated under that subparagraph available to resource partners of the Administration so that those resource partners can assist in amplifying public awareness regarding relevant information needed by disaster loan applicants.</text>
                            </subparagraph>

                        </quoted-block>
                    </subparagraph>
                </paragraph>

                    <enum>(3)</enum>
 <text>by amending section 40(a)(2)(D) (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/15/657l">15 U.S.C. 657l(a)(2)(D)</external-xref>) to read as follows:</text>

                        <subparagraph id="idF6D762FF8D394793A18BBE96B1FC4FF3">
                            <enum>(D)</enum>
 <text>guidelines pursuant to which the Administration will coordinate with other Federal agencies, State, local, and regional authorities, and resource partners of the Administration to best respond to the demand described in subparagraph (B) and to best use the resources described in that subparagraph.</text>
                        </subparagraph>

            </subsection>

                <enum>(b)</enum>
                <header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Disaster planning coordination</header>
 <text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 12073(c) of the Small Business Disaster Response and Loan Improvements Act of 2008 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/15/636h">15 U.S.C. 636h(c)</external-xref>) is amended—</text>
                <paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id7a7de773709b44f4a60ef0487ba7aaf7">
                    <enum>(1)</enum>
 <text>in paragraph (2), by striking <quote>and</quote> at the end;</text> </paragraph> <paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id1e913d7392e94ff782967db0dc4b02e2"> <enum>(2)</enum> <text>by redesignating paragraph (3) as paragraph (4); and</text>
                </paragraph>
                <paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idf0dc18da1b8b4420b74d9ebc5859714a">
                    <enum>(3)</enum>
 <text>by inserting after paragraph (2) the following:</text> <quoted-block style="OLC" id="idC78B52AD53274ACDBC16ED488B9862D0" act-name=""> <paragraph id="id602FBE3BBA794236979842B7BDC1DCF2"> <enum>(3)</enum> <text>resource partners of the Administration; and</text>
