<distribution-code display="yes">II</distribution-code><congress>119th CONGRESS</congress><session>1st Session</session><legis-num>S. 1413</legis-num><current-chamber>IN THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES</current-chamber><action><action-date date="20250410">April 10, 2025</action-date><action-desc><sponsor name-id="S413">Mr. Padilla</sponsor> (for himself and <cosponsor name-id="S344">Mr. Hoeven</cosponsor>) introduced the following bill; which was read twice and referred to the <committee-name committee-id="SSEG00">Committee on Energy and Natural Resources</committee-name></action-desc></action><legis-type>A BILL</legis-type><official-title>To authorize additional funding for the San Joaquin River Restoration Settlement Act.</official-title></form><legis-body display-enacting-clause="yes-display-enacting-clause"><section section-type="section-one" id="id2d30a4a13f7d42ae97d202f940686a7c"><enum>1.</enum><header>Additional funding for the San Joaquin River Restoration Settlement Act</header><subsection id="idf35938b4efea4a618a24b0518d498344"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Authorization of appropriations To implement Settlement</header><text>Section 10009 of the San Joaquin River Restoration Settlement Act (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/111/11">Public Law 111–11</external-xref>; 123 Stat. 1355) is amended—</text><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id5bb24ea07d204674a4afb0dd375ca178"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">in subsection (a)(1), by striking <quote>$250,000,000</quote> and inserting <quote>$750,000,000</quote>; and</text></paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="ideac1980a1fea460aabcc99756ed455d2"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in subsection (b)(1), by striking <quote>$250,000,000</quote> and inserting <quote>$750,000,000</quote>.</text></paragraph></subsection><subsection id="id6314fea4f1cb4708b261c081697f715c"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Authorization of appropriations for Friant Division improvements</header><text>Section 10203(c) of the Omnibus Public Land Management Act of 2009 (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/111/11">Public Law 111–11</external-xref>; 123 Stat. 1367) is amended by striking <quote>$50,000,000</quote> and inserting ‘‘$75,000,000”. </text></subsection></section></legis-body></bill>
