<section id="HF659DC9D722240BCAEF22DEBC9AD5F64" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Threshold required for vote for censure, disapproval, and removal from committee</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Rule XVII of the Rules of the House of Representatives is amended by adding at the end the following new clause:</text> <quoted-block style="OLC" id="HBBF0226F024E4C5AA89F5C352B62FB82" display-inline="no-display-inline"> <rules-clause id="H1D4BD3A7A4254233B14820E243FF15EE"> <rules-clause-header>Censure, disapproval, and removal from committee</rules-clause-header><enum>11.</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">A Member, Delegate, or Resident Commissioner may not be subjected to the censure or disapproval of the House, nor to removal from committee membership, unless not less than 60 percent of the Members voting, a quorum being present, vote in favor of the resolution to censure, disapprove, or remove such Member, Delegate, or Resident Commissioner from committee assignments.</text></rules-clause><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></section>
