<section display-inline="yes-display-inline" section-type="undesignated-section" id="H918C2649A4B046FCB9C40E3EAF355BB0"><enum/><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">That the election contest filed on November 17, 2024, relating to the office of Representative from the Fourteenth Congressional District of Florida is dismissed on the grounds that, under section 2(1) of the Federal Contested Election Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/2/381">2 U.S.C. 381(1)</external-xref>), the House of Representatives has jurisdiction over official general and special elections to choose a Representative in, or Delegate or Resident Commissioner to, the Congress, but does not have jurisdiction over a primary election, or a caucus or convention of a political party. </text></section> </resolution-body> <attestation><attestation-group><attestor display="no">Kevin F.
