Trump’s address to a joint session of Congress, violating decorum and order expected of Members of Congress;</text></whereas><whereas><text>Whereas pursuant to Rule I of the One Hundred Nineteenth Congress of the House of Representatives, the Speaker of the House of Representatives shall preserve order and decorum in the chamber;</text></whereas><whereas><text>Whereas Members of Congress were advised by the Speaker of the House to maintain decorum;</text></whereas><whereas><text>Whereas Representative Green willfully disrupted the joint session, remained defiant, and was subsequently removed by the House Sergeant at Arms from the chamber; and</text></whereas><whereas><text>Whereas the actions of Representative Green brought disrepute to the United States Congress: Now, therefore, be it</text></whereas></preamble><resolution-body style="traditional" id="H27268DA6E0A14850B75D17DFB1487ABC"><section display-inline="yes-display-inline" section-type="undesignated-section" id="H396130A6F3D443CB89D0D9743DF1A453"><enum/><text>That—</text><paragraph id="H5D5613BB32F5491BB573395293C0C36B"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Representative Al Green of Texas be censured;</text></paragraph><paragraph id="HFC540009C2244BE8A3D809E93C717026"><enum>(2)</enum><text>Representative Al Green forthwith present himself in the well of the House of Representatives for the pronouncement of censure; and</text></paragraph><paragraph id="HCC0C8AB02FDE44ED8AC13B5C4AD47D40"><enum>(3)</enum><text>Representative Al Green be censured with the public reading of this resolution by the Speaker.</text></paragraph></section></resolution-body></resolution>
