<section id="H22832E32C3E4474DAAD4FC18D4D0DB02" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Removing Extraneous Loopholes Insuring Every Veteran Emergency Act</short-title></quote> or the <quote><short-title>RELIEVE Act</short-title></quote>. </text></section> <section id="H0BC95F966924487991824F6AC3674330"><enum>2.</enum><header>Eligibility requirements for reimbursement for emergency treatment furnished to veterans</header> <subsection id="H139A600C5AF34473B0EFE9539B5C24A8"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Eligibility requirements</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 1725(b)(2)(B) of title 38, United States Code, is amended by inserting <quote>, unless such emergency treatment was furnished during the 60-day period following the date on which the veteran enrolled in the health care system specified in subparagraph (A), in which case no requirement for prior receipt of care shall apply</quote> before the period.</text></subsection>
<subsection id="H352C575E5AA14DB8BF1DF9DCA5541EE9"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Applicability</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The amendment made by subsection (a) shall apply with respect to emergency treatment furnished on or after the date that is one year after the date of the enactment of this Act.</text></subsection></section> </legis-body></bill>
