<section id="H5A89AC3128FD4ECDAB8A19C2D98B3E0C" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Veterans Law Judge Experience Act of 2025</short-title></quote>. </text></section> <section id="H7B3B644640864D7A845CA02FB5C00515"><enum>2.</enum><header>Priority for individuals with certain professional experience in appointments to Board of Veterans’ Appeals</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Subsection (a) of section 7101A of title 38, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following new paragraph:</text>

<paragraph id="H98FCB51A237F4A04977FEE40A6E63AD8" indent="up1"><enum>(3)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In recommending individuals to the Secretary to serve as members of the Board, the Chairman shall give priority to individuals with three or more years of legal professional experience in areas that pertain to the laws administered by the Secretary.</text></paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></section> </legis-body> <endorsement display="yes"> <action-date date="20250926">September 26, 2025</action-date> <action-desc>Committed to the Committee of the Whole House on the State of the Union and ordered to be printed</action-desc></endorsement> </bill>
