R. 62</legis-num><current-chamber>IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES</current-chamber><action display="yes"><action-date date="20250103">January 3, 2025</action-date><action-desc><sponsor name-id="B001302">Mr. Biggs of Arizona</sponsor> (for himself, <cosponsor name-id="C001132">Mr. Crane</cosponsor>, and <cosponsor name-id="L000596">Mrs. Luna</cosponsor>) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the <committee-name committee-id="HJU00">Committee on the Judiciary</committee-name></action-desc></action><legis-type>A BILL</legis-type><official-title display="yes">To prohibit Federal funds from being awarded or otherwise made available to the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office.</official-title></form><legis-body id="H225C2D19B6EC4E2AB91A018A10DCBBCF" style="OLC"><section id="HC4D1A4200E0A42E48D4F97BBED619797" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Withholding Investments from Lawless Litigators In States Act</short-title></quote> or the <quote><short-title>WILLIS Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section><section id="H7D701F94FB014FEEB719A5B658527D3D"><enum>2.</enum><header>Prohibition on Federal funding with respect to Fulton County District Attorney</header><subsection id="H980BF074017B4F2AB0D55AFE19E08E43"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Prohibition on Federal funding</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Notwithstanding any other provision of law, no Federal funds may be awarded or otherwise made available to the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office.</text></subsection><subsection id="HABA367006EC944209CC552D3FAB3F88C"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Rescission and repayment of Federal funding</header><text>The unobligated balances of all amounts allocated for or otherwise made available to the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office is hereby rescinded, and the Attorney General shall take such steps as may be necessary and practicable to require the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office to reimburse the Federal Government for all amounts expended for such Office after the date of January 1, 2021. </text></subsection></section></legis-body></bill>
