Requiring Medicare Advantage plans to automatically reconsider of determinations denying coverage

Section 1852(g)(2)(A) of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. 1395–22(g)(2)(A)) is amended— (1)by striking a determination and inserting each determination; (2)by striking upon request by the enrollee involved; and (3)by striking of the receipt of the request for reconsideration and inserting on which the determination described in paragraph (1)(B) is made.
