<section id="H2EAFAE73C85E437D957B66B1FA0B8875" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Protect and Respect ICE Act</short-title></quote> or the <quote><short-title>PRICE Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section id="HD0909531B920472BB1DB4210EF88AFB0"><enum>2.</enum><header>Increased penalties for assaulting, resisting, or impeding ICE officers or employees</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 111 of title 18, United States Code, is amended—</text> 
<paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H901081469BE04BF2ADFBD3CC6AC2DB4D"><enum>(1)</enum><text>by redesignating subsection (c) as subsection (d); and</text></paragraph> <paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H55FD8C4CA0E3473E872E649C88281051"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by inserting after subsection (b) the following:</text>

<subsection id="H4EAD1EBFF67F44DA95E3E594F34ECD01"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Enhanced penalty for violations against ICE officers or employees</header><text>In the case of a violation of subsection (a) committed against an officer or employee of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the applicable maximum term of imprisonment under this section shall be doubled, and the applicable maximum fine shall be adjusted accordingly.</text></subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></paragraph></section> </legis-body></bill>
