<section section-type="section-one" id="HA7A5C5F8EC984FD08293CD691C71B13B"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Disability and Age in Jury Service Nondiscrimination Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section>
<section section-type="subsequent-section" id="HC6E0D020897B49A18A340025CBDD0F06"><enum>2.</enum><header>Exclusion from Federal juries on account of disability</header>
<subsection id="H78337F5C61E54D40A08385405E68D0DA"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Discrimination prohibited</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 1862 of title 28, United States Code, is amended by inserting <quote>disability, age,</quote> after <quote>origin,</quote>.</text></subsection>
<subsection id="H34FFBFE55AD1439FAC453A49E3595982"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Qualifications for jury service</header><text>Section 1865 of title 28, United States Code, is amended—</text>
<paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HB27040602BF9427C824888C75BF48DBE"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">in subsection (b)(4), by striking <quote>infirmity</quote> inserting <quote>disability that cannot be reasonably accommodated</quote>; and</text></paragraph>
<paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HFB7B67B1F2374ACABE93686849932BE0"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">by adding at the end the following:</text>
<quoted-block style="OLC" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H1C8EB0AB1304415F941B802DA13A469B">
<subsection id="H6C33A3E34B8C408BB50E9CD4EFD79074"><enum>(c)</enum><text>No person may be disqualified from serving on grand and petit juries in the district court under paragraph (2) or (3) of subsection (b) on account of disability if the person would be qualified under such paragraph (2) or (3) by reasonable accommodation.</text></subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></paragraph></subsection></section>
