<section id="H1E492827022240EFADF80D8CF2043AC3" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Commission of Fine Arts District of Columbia Residency Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section id="H442BACDEED7E450D9D14559514A4B862"><enum>2.</enum><header>Requiring majority of members of Commission of Fine Arts to be District of Columbia residents</header> <subsection id="H450FEB6249B84453800809DDF1D26DB3"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Requirement</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 9101(b) of title 40, United States Code, is amended by striking <quote>appointed by the President, who serve</quote> and inserting <quote>a majority of whom are residents of the District of Columbia, who shall be appointed by the President to serve</quote>.</text></subsection> 
<subsection id="H101CF37DB38847448D59A7095E4396F3"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Effective date</header><text>The amendment made by subsection (a) shall take effect upon the expiration of the 1-year period which begins on the date of the enactment of this Act.</text></subsection></section> </legis-body></bill>
