<section id="H6B8F779F18B545678D2CC005278F7F89" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header>
 <text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Stop Unnecessary Expenditures Act</short-title></quote> or the <quote><short-title>SUE Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> 
<section id="HB275E48EB5D948A09061E7B5E50095E9"><enum>2.</enum><header>Prohibition with respect to use of certain funds for Wall Street Journal subscription</header> 
<subsection id="H1D81F4B971CE47AA9B38D504BF586B97"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Notwithstanding any other provision of law, no Federal funds may be used to pay for a subscription to the Wall Street Journal for any office of a Member of Congress (including a Delegate or Resident Commissioner to the Congress) or for any committee of Congress.</text> </subsection> <subsection id="H9E77F0E6EAFA457DBA4D24BD7CB056D0"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Effective date</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">This section shall apply with respect to fiscal year 2025 and each succeeding fiscal year.</text></subsection></section>
