<section id="H02E8BA97F985489B9FF8CE39865E8886" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Expanding Educational Freedom and Opportunity for Families Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section id="HD62553898301412DBCFE75FA86E07B46"><enum>2.</enum><header>Codification of Executive Order 14191</header> <subsection id="HA9E6208A4BB44E7BBD545AADAF24A6DB"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Executive Order 14191 (90 Fed. Reg. 8859; relating to expanding educational freedom and opportunity for families) shall have the force and effect of law.</text></subsection> 
<subsection id="H624E439FDF944FA3A6B7B4896462656C"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Rule of construction</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Nothing in this Act shall be construed as altering or otherwise affecting the determination of whether a private, religious, or parochial elementary or secondary school—</text> <paragraph id="HBAD4297E8D3B4517892A350B17AF0B50"><enum>(1)</enum><text>is receiving Federal financial assistance for the purpose of determining whether such school is subject to the requirements of title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/20/1681">20 U.S.C. 1681 et seq.</external-xref>); or</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="HF3FF71C02D7248DC80C153F3C4348D23"><enum>(2)</enum><text>is or is not a state actor, including for purposes of determining liability under the Fourteenth Amendment to the Constitution.</text> </paragraph></subsection></section> </legis-body></bill>
