<section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HC782C710D2BA49AB9DC016ECAB1A2C12" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Reauthorization of programs</header> 
<subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H073D0F0504794490A444BF9846AC92C3">
        <enum>(a)</enum>
        <header display-inline="yes-display-inline">National strategy and regional centers of
          excellence in vector-Borne disease</header>
 <text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 317U of the Public Health Service Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/247b-23">42 U.S.C. 247b–23</external-xref>) is amended—</text>
        <paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline"
          id="HBC08201F4440424C88CD32B0B42CBF04">
          <enum>(1)</enum>
 <text>in subsection (b), in the matter preceding paragraph (1), by striking <quote>the Tick-Borne Disease Working Group established under section 2062 of the 21st Century Cures Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/284s">42 U.S.C. 284s</external-xref>) and other individuals, as appropriate</quote> and inserting <quote>appropriate individuals</quote>;</text>
        </paragraph>

          <enum>(2)</enum>
 <text>in subsection (c)(4), by inserting <quote>, including by increasing capacity to identify, report, prevent, and respond to such diseases</quote> before the period at the end; and</text>

          <enum>(3)</enum>
 <text display-inline="yes-display-inline">in subsection (f), by striking <quote>2021 through 2025</quote> and inserting <quote>2026 through 2030</quote>.</text>

        <enum>(b)</enum>
        <header>Enhanced support To assist health departments in addressing vector-Borne
          diseases</header>
 <text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 2822(c) of the Public Health Service Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/300hh-32">42 U.S.C. 300hh–32(c)</external-xref>) is amended by striking <quote>2021 through 2025</quote> and inserting <quote>2026 through 2030</quote>.</text>
