<section id="HE1308317D48E46378D48698F337F5795" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Reauthorization of programs related to health professions education</header> 
<subsection id="H26085E255A70480493378B8C548F87B6"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Centers of excellence</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 736(i) of the Public Health Service Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/293">42 U.S.C. 293(i)</external-xref>) is amended by striking <quote>appropriated</quote> and all that follows through the period at the end and inserting <quote>appropriated $28,422,000 for each of fiscal years 2026 through 2030.</quote>.</text></subsection> <subsection id="H7AB9896F6CCE4CF5B1AAF711DF58754D"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Scholarships for disadvantaged students</header><text>Section 740(a) of the Public Health Service Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/293d">42 U.S.C. 293d(a)</external-xref>) is amended by striking <quote>section 737</quote> and all that follows through <quote>2025.</quote> and inserting <quote>section 737, $55,014,000 for each of fiscal years 2026 through 2030.</quote>.</text></subsection> 
<subsection id="H49526ED69A4C4AC5BEE1377511A7515E"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Loan repayments and fellowships regarding faculty positions</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 740(b) of the Public Health Service Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/293d">42 U.S.C. 293d(b)</external-xref>) is amended by striking <quote>appropriated</quote> and all that follows through the period at the end and inserting <quote>appropriated, $2,310,000 for each of fiscal years 2026 through 2030.</quote>.</text></subsection> <subsection id="H21C590C253EE4A09959E5D767F178549"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Educational assistance in health professions regarding individuals for disadvantaged backgrounds</header><text>Section 740(c) of the Public Health Service Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/293d">42 U.S.C. 293d(c)</external-xref>) is amended by striking <quote>authorized to be appropriated</quote> and all that follows through <quote>2025.</quote> and inserting <quote>authorized to be appropriated $16,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2026 through 2030.</quote>.</text></subsection> 
<subsection id="H0BF5FC68CBBC4AB3A3FD6246A51740E1"><enum>(e)</enum><header>Primary care training and enhancement</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 747(c)(1) of the Public Health Service Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/293k">42 U.S.C. 293k(c)(1)</external-xref>) is amended by striking <quote>appropriated</quote> and all that follows through the period at the end and inserting <quote>appropriated $49,924,000 for each of fiscal years 2026 through 2030.</quote>.</text> </subsection> <subsection id="H8C8ACBB7E055488A96AC91C2511A08AE"><enum>(f)</enum><header>Training in general, pediatric, and public health dentistry</header><text>Section 748(f) of the Public Health Service Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/293k-2">42 U.S.C. 293k–2(f)</external-xref>) is amended by striking <quote>appropriated</quote> and all that follows through the period at the end and inserting <quote>appropriated $42,673,000 for each of fiscal years 2026 through 2030.</quote>.</text></subsection> 
<subsection id="HF09D35528D334D96807918F5F1BC395F"><enum>(g)</enum><header>Area health education centers</header><text>Section 751(j)(1) of the Public Health Service Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/294a">42 U.S.C. 294a(j)(1)</external-xref>) is amended by striking <quote>section</quote> and all that follows through the period at the end and inserting <quote>section $47,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2026 through 2030.</quote>.</text></subsection> <subsection id="H6FDB620BA940433294ED55560A518502"><enum>(h)</enum><header>Education and training relating to geriatrics</header><text>Section 753(d) of the Public Health Service Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/294c">42 U.S.C. 294c(d)</external-xref>) is amended by striking <quote>appropriated</quote> and all that follows through the period at the end and inserting <quote>appropriated $48,245,000 for each of fiscal years 2026 through 2030 for purposes of carrying out this section.</quote>.</text> </subsection> 
<subsection id="HAE1C52BD29D24DD7A12D965ECBBEA043"><enum>(i)</enum><header>National Center for Health Care Workforce Analysis</header><text>Section 761(e)(1)(A) of the Public Health Service Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/294n">42 U.S.C. 294n(e)(1)(A)</external-xref>) is amended by striking <quote>2021 through 2025</quote> and inserting <quote>2026 through 2030</quote>.</text></subsection> <subsection id="HD8DEA4AD917E44A7B56ACCBA097F98D6"><enum>(j)</enum><header>Public health workforce development</header><text>Section 770(a) of the Public Health Service Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/295e">42 U.S.C. 295e(a)</external-xref>) is amended by striking <quote>appropriated</quote> and all that follows through the period at the end and inserting <quote>appropriated $18,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2026 through 2030.</quote>.</text></subsection> 
<subsection id="H411696B34FA24CAEB2F6AD45980D3F6D"><enum>(k)</enum><header>Pediatric specialty loan repayment program</header><text>Section 775(e) of the Public Health Service Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/295f">42 U.S.C. 295f(e)</external-xref>) is amended by striking <quote>appropriated</quote> and all that follows through the period at the end and inserting <quote>appropriated to carry out this section $10,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2026 through 2030.</quote>.</text> </subsection></section> </legis-body></bill>
