<section id="H16D2270C4DC043BCB086E81348F91DD3" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header>
 <text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Protect Railroads Against Illegal Looters Act</short-title></quote> or the <quote><short-title>Protect RAIL Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> 
<section id="HB28F423BC8ED442EA5BF9969D1BCD0D0" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Inadmissibility and deportability for offenses involving interstate or foreign shipments by carrier</header> 
<subsection id="H7D078C6C3FDB4A23909C9427BDD9ABE3"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Inadmissibility</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 212(a)(2) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/8/1182">8 U.S.C. 1182(a)(2)</external-xref>) is amended by adding at the end the following:</text> <quoted-block style="OLC" id="H0AD5B3B380B843CFA99982571F2B8A53" display-inline="no-display-inline"> <subparagraph id="H68FF20E6FD3643D684A4FBF6638A34E7"><enum>(J)</enum><header>Offenses involving interstate or foreign shipments by carrier</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Any alien who has been convicted of, who admits having committed, or who admits committing acts which constitute the essential elements of an offense under section 659 of title 18, United States Code, or a conspiracy to commit such an offense, is inadmissible.</text></subparagraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></subsection> 
<subsection id="H0D329BC338604CFFA30A79A1125E9401"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Deportability</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 237(a)(2) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/8/1227">8 U.S.C. 1227(a)(2)</external-xref>) is amended by adding at the end the following:</text> <quoted-block style="OLC" id="H75E5A3B3699E4D808A08B6B9AB446CAF" display-inline="no-display-inline"> <subparagraph id="H3AD909D93056432A8D39C1D603FC700A"><enum>(G)</enum><header>Offenses involving interstate or foreign shipments by carrier</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Any alien who has been convicted of an offense under section 659 of title 18, United States Code, or a conspiracy to commit such an offense, is deportable.</text></subparagraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></subsection></section>
